"The accommodation was to a high standard, and in a good location. It is ten minutes from the train station, and less than five minutes from the beach. Breakfast was prepared individually, (unlike a hotel). The owner was very helpful."

Room had small fridge and microwave which was ideal for me, was advised private bathroom but was sharing with 2 others, not happy about that but otherwise a lovely stay. Marina very helpful on arrival and chatty throughout stay. I would return."

"On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. "The owners were incredibly lovely and helpful, great for a chat over breakfast and any time we crossed paths. They had ideas and suggestions of where to go and what to do and very much gave a homely feeling to our stay. The breakfast was delicious. They made a full English breakfast both days to order whilst also having a selection of different cereals, fruits and pastries. "Great location; 5 min walk from the Torquay train station and 10 min walk to the waterfront. Clean, well-maintained and charming room and facilities. Good-sized bathroom with excellent amenities. Cute bar, lounge, and reading room. Nice bit of garden in the front to sit and read or bask in the sun. Excellent breakfast. Above all, charming and lovely hosts Wendy and Steve (Thank you ever so much). We will be coming back for sure."
