"Hotel dated. Beds uncomfortable Nothing in bathrooms except soap, towels and toilet rolls No shampoos, body cream, shower creams etc even though we paid top price for superior room Staff new and untrained Breakfast basic, all self service Disappointing"

"Lovely, spacious rooms, environment considered (no silly plastic cups/shower caps). I saw the pool and jacuzzi water being tested twice whilst we were there. Only thing was that we had to pay for parking, but that was because we booked with a third party. Book with hotel. Breakfast lovely, maybe a few more pastry/bread choices needed."

"Large clean room with sofa bed and a double bed. Small fridge and hairdryer. Large bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Shower floods bathroom everytime due to not having a door/screen to floor meaning you have to use 3 towels on floor to stop this, bad design in my opinion. Breakfast was your normal buffet restaurant, nit a lot of gluten free options avaliable, asked for some gluten free bread and was handed one small slice. "The spa was very nice and clean, but the hotel itself could do with some updating. Had to run the shower for 15-20 minutes to get any hot water, the bathroom needed a good clean, some staff in dining room at breakfast and cleaning staff very nice, rest need to learn to smile more. Food by pool ok but chilli 🌶 very watery as though had been defrosted, not what I expected from a 3 star hotel"

"The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. Hotel was in a great location, right on the beach! The amenities weren’t as advertised. The snooker table couldn’t be used as the cues were broken as were the pockets. Also didn’t see any sign of any board games unless I was looking in the wrong place, but they weren’t obvious! The room although clean and tidy was very small. You couldn’t easily bend down in the shower cubicle. Also I couldn’t get the soap dispensers to work. The sink in the...

"The general decor, walls curtains and carpets are quite dated and worn. It Cld do with a revamp. But it’s clean and fresh feeling despite that and the rooms are really big and the pools are great! It’s a perfect location to walk into Torquay too. Will definitely return."

"Everything was brilliant but noticed on 2nd day in the swimming pool was full of personal hair and water appeared cloudy , although facilities were good in the pool area."
