"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Travelled from Lancashire on the Friday and stayed until the Monday we were received with a welcome despite arriving late shown to our rooms which were very basic but comfortable. Only criticism no one replenished anything whilst we were there including toilet roll teabags et cetera however I’m sure if we have asked we would’ve got them. Breakfast was phenomenal lots of choice cooked to perfection to order plenty of juice, cereals, fresh fruit, and yoghurt. Stuff very friendly and welcoming....
