"The nicest people work at the Library Hotel. The rooms are adorable and the second floor lounge was so welcome and had what we needed as a snack and a drink. Made it up to the rooftop bar at 10:45- beware it closes at 11pm. Wish we had gone earlier- it looked great with a view of the Empire State Building. "Room was INCREDIBLY loud. I would not recommend staying here if you intend on having a good nights sleep. The elevators are a disaster. The room service is slow after 7pm. Front desk was less than enthusiastic to help. The Carlyle, The Surrey or even The Four Seasons midtown are better picks."
