"A very secluded, private park-like setting in a quiet residential neighborhood. The old lodge and rooms have been thoughtfully and beautifully restored. I'd stay here every time vs a hotel. The value was superior."

"This place has clean room and building, friendly/helpful staff, but the pillows on the bed were the absolute worst experience. I would imagine they are forced to use cheap pillows but I will choose somewhere else to stay next visit because of this. It made it incredibly hard to get decent sleep."

"This hotel is amazing"

"This is a truly unique hotel. It was beautifully, renovated, spacious, super clean, and very convenient for exploring Marshall. The restaurant was good, and it was very relaxing sitting on the deck and listening to the river. The unit was nicely equipped. The only difficulty we had was getting a hold of anyone for questions when we arrived. The phone number in the binder did not answer our call nor reply to text message. I did see a very helpful employee cleaning the next day who answered...

"The rooms was very clean, but did see 2 roaches in our bathroom! The guys at the hotel was very nice, the younger lady was lil rude! They ended up letting us swim in the pool !! Bed lil hard, pillows was flat !!!"
