"Breakfast was non-existant although paid for. Was dissapointed to be told on arrival that what appeared from the website to be full english breakfast was in fact only going to be a continental breakfast which would be left in a small fridge upstairs. Was even more disappointed to find the fridge empty in the morning. Mis-selling breakfast left a stain on what was an otherwise great stay with great staff attention and good evening meal."

"Room was of a good standard clean, tidy and smelt fresh and airy. Bathroom was of a good standard just a bit cosy when you sit down."

"I had a very pleasant stay overall and really appreciated the comfort and service provided. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and clearly lives up to its rating. The room was nicely arranged, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One small thing I did miss was having complimentary water bottles in the room, as this is something I’ve usually found helpful during my stays elsewhere. Additionally, a slight improvement could be made in the cleanliness just outside the building. Although there is a designated smoking area, there were quite a few cigarette butts visible, which suggests that the outdoor area may need more regular cleaning. While this didn’t affect me personally, it could make a noticeable difference for other guests and families. I didn’t include breakfast or dinner in my stay, but from what I could observe and the inviting aromas from the kitchen, it gave the impression of a high-quality dining experience, with a talented chef and a well-presented bar. Overall, it was a great experience, and I truly appreciate the effort of the staff. With just a little attention to these minor details, the stay could be even better."

"Having booked and prepaif a room I was a bit disappointed that every bar and food transaction had to be pre-paid and I could not run a tab. This was particularly frustrating as bar service was a bit slow and I was with a client meaning I had to break our discussion several times. Additionally in the room there is an emergwncy light. It has a large green bulb that is quite bright and illiminates the whole room. Its like sitting under the Aurora Borealis and kept waking us up. It could be repalced with a tiny LED as its purpose is only to show the emergency lighting is working. Other than those things it was OK."
