"We checked in at 3PM. We were given our keys but when we entered, the room was unclean. The towels were dirty & on the floor, the bed was slept in. There were half eaten yogurt and coffee cups laying about. We waited in the lobby over an hour past check in waiting for someone to be available to clean the room. We eventually had to leave so we wouldn't miss our dinner reservations. It was cleaned by the time we returned. People are overall nice just clearly understaffed. No other concerns beyond...

"Would have given more stars, everything was great except for two areas. First, the food is very basic, but we had heard that and there is great dining nearby. However, we were there for two nights and NEVER received maid service, even after going to the office (across the street btw) THREE times and repeatedly being promised service. Also, parking is very limited. Great location and cute property. "

"I expected more from a Marriott property. A\C heat functioned poorly, the coffee maker was broken in the room, and we had insects in the bathroom. The property is old, and could probably use a second renovation. Avoid the hot? Items at breakfast. I will avoid this Marriott in the future. "We have stayed here several times and have found the beds to be comfortable with a good mattress and lots of pillows. The other times we stayed, the rooms seemed new and fresh and clean. The room we had this time had an older carpet and a musty smell and was in a corner without a lot of light. Next time we will specify the room we want. The breakfast was not impressive with mostly sugary pastries, cold and hot cereals. There aren't a lot of healthy options except for some fruit. But it met...

"Most things about this hotel were fine, clean room, good location, helpful staff. The one bad thing is if you bring your dog, there’s no good place on the property for your dog to do its business. The very small dirt patches in the parking lot had poop from dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs."
