"The location is close to Kyoto Station and many restaurants. Guests are required to take their shoes off at the main entrance and store their shoes in the lockers, so that means guests walk around the hotel in their socks, which is kind of nice. The lobby has an area to clean the luggage wheels. Additionally, there is free coffee/tea, ice cream, and noodles at certain hours. The onsen is also nice and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and clean. Overall, a great place to stay!"

"The hotel sits above the train station and is a remarkable building that seems to stretch into the clouds it is that big. The service was excellent as were the size of the rooms. the hotel is looking a little tired but worked well for our visit being very central to everything obviously great for the trains and buses.. the bus terminal is conveniently outside and perfect for your sightseeing with a flat fee of 230 yen per trip."

"Great welcome at check in. Lovely large, spotless room with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, sofa and desk. Great bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer provided. We used the washers/dryers on floor 2 which worked well. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, all very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful when we were forwarding our luggage to our next hotel. Great location, a short walk from the main rail station. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"The train station is literally a hallway away from outside of the building! It was super convenient, and for a hotel room of this size the price was very fair. The hotel is also close to the Kyōto imperial palace, which is definitely worth visiting.
