"The accommodations were spartan but clean we had the "Family Room", the owner very nice and helpful. The bathroom and shower were fine. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together.It is 15 minute walk to the station and to Byodo-in (main attraction in Uji) There are no food options close by but kitchen access was available. The only real problem is that for anyone who has mobility issues, access to the room was 2 flights of very steep narrow stairs."

"Alles bestens. Kaffee gibt es an der Rezeption kostenfrei. Die Zimmer sind modern und sehr sauber. Jeden Tag wurde tip top gereinigt. Sehr zentrale Lage in der Nähe vom Bahnhof kyoto. Es liegt in einer kleinen Gasse von daher auch sehr ruhig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. "

"It’s 7-10 min walk from 2 stations, which was convenient for us. It’s in a quiet neighborhood which was great, staff was kind and helpful. I love how they had a water dispenser on our floor. There’s also a 7-11 and a Family Mart close by too. Scenic views as you’re walking around, will definitely come again."

"Nice hotel close to Kyoto station and shopping mall and restaurants, very clean, but bed is small for 4ppl (I booked quadruple room) and I don’t really like the pillow too. But overall it’s a very nice hotel."
