"The first mistake we made was using the wrong elevator. We knew that the hotel lobby was on the 19th floor, but we didn't know that the hotel's dedicated elevators were on the 1st floor and we were on the 2nd floor. So make sure you use access the hotel from the 1st floor elevators near the hotel's restaurant, otherwise you'll compete with the shoppers and diners using the elevators for Lucua which are located just a few feet away. It's very confusing. Once you figure the elevator thing out,...

"It is really hard to go wrong with the Ritz..
The hotel is situated with a walking distance to Osaka station. However, you do need to travel by train or taxi to Shin-Osaka Station. The rooms were large and very clean to our satisfaction. The staff was extremely attentive to every request we had. Breakfast - was rich and offered large variety of dishes. All in all, highly recommended."

"Conveniently located, room is a bit smaller and old, towels are thin not fluffy. Staff are nice and professional, room is surprisingly quite considering the hotel is so close to the Osaka train station. With very limited experience staying in Japanese hotels, particularly in city centers, one should take my feedback as a grain of salt."
