One detail we really appreciated was that the valet team always remembered to charge our EV after parking it, without us even needing to ask. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well! "Great place, super clean and easy to find/check-in. The staff was very polite and responsive. I appreciated the detailed instructions on how to use the utilities, plus the good-quality coffee - the umbrella came in super handy. Having on-site laundry was very helpful as well! I would definitely love to stay here again and highly suggest it for anybody staying for a couple weeks to a month."

"The history and location of the Sylvia Hotel make it a very charming venue. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant remains very good. The views are delightful. It always feels like a genuine holiday when I stay at "the Sylvia", even if I'm working. I love being able to walk to Stanley Park, along the English Bay beach and it's all just a block or so from a very diverse cross-section of shops and dining."

"The view was amazing (harbor view). The actual room was a bit dated. The carpet had a big wrinkle down the center, and there weren’t enough outlets for 2 cpaps. The roof deck pool was phenomenal as was the hot tub. Parking was convenient, but a little spendy. Location is great. Staff were very professional and polite."

"The location was terrific and the staff was very nice the 24 hrs we were there. There were 2 notable things: the fitness room was not well equipped(no yoga mats, small room, few machines) and our AC was not working. When we reported that to the front desk when we returned from dinner- the front desk associate told us they no longer had a maintenance crew and that he would be up to reset it. He did, in fact, come up to reset it, but that was not effective. So we were uncomfortable all night....
