"My son and I stayed at Lyf for 5 nights in February 2026, visiting from America. We absolutely loved the fact that it’s inside a mall & the mall itself is amazing, can’t get any better than that, right? Oh yes it can, the location is absolutely top tier, close to all the major spots & Fort Canning park is right across the street. You can literally get there from a bridge inside the mall. How awesome is that. Housekeeping, the front desk staff & breakfast (which you get free if you’re an Ascott member - sign up is free) were also amazing. Highly recommend."

The front office team deserves special mention- Dylan was a star! And not to forget Catherine- she was also amazing! They were very hands-on, attentive, and made the entire check-in feel so welcoming. Throughout my stay, the staff consistently demonstrated professionalism and genuine care. Dylan was always so helpful and ready to help me and amma plan the day! the friendly attitude of the staff made a big difference in the overall experience. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. The warm service and attention to detail truly set this hotel apart. "The breakfast was amazing, no waiting and selection of food was excellent. Staff was amazing particularly at reception when they organised an emergency dentist for me. The entire property was beautifully clean and the location was perfect for us. Only a very small problem with the lifts I don’t think there was enough in good working condition for such a large property. "

"I spent one night at the Carlton. Clean, nice room, great room service. Disappointed by the pool environment. Even though it was cloudy, it just felt like no one cared about how the pool environment looked. The chair cushions were all askew. Just didn’t look professional or welcoming. "

"Room was average size. Room clean but not bathroom. Staff was friendly.Walking distance to Chinatown & Clarke Quay. Buffet beakfast downstairs not recommended. Some food didn't feel fresh. Overall was pleasant trip."
