The location either by cab or train is excellent. The hotel is clean & tidy & the out of hours arrangements are excellent. A very nice place to stay in a central location.

Small comfortable hotel

Friendly reception, convenient to Piazzale Roma. Small rooms, as is typical for Venice, but clean and comfortable. I had no problem with the after-hours checkin - they give you the code for the outside doors and leave the room key for you inside. At night the entrance is off of a very small alley, but not hard to find.

A very nice hotel

This hotel is very well put together, and chose to concentrate on a comfortable and neatly decorated room and not on stars. I would always consider staying here again if I return to Venice

Mosquito all you can eat hotel

Dead mosquitos with old dried blood splattered on all the walls, ceiling, furniture - really gross. Seriously clean that up. Bed rock hard. There was supposed to be AC & an elevator, there was neither. This is the main reason I booked with them! They turned the AC off for the season and only had heat. I had to keep the windows open to not suffocate & instead battled mosquitos all night. I’ll never stay here again & im trying to get compensation from hotels.com for the misrepresentation. Good luck to me, hotels.com service has diminished.

Room was not clean. Bed linen looked very shabby. We had to take it off and sleep. The blanket they kept was definitely not washed and it was worn out fleece material. We felt disgusted to sleep on that bed. We stayed for two days. The staff did not make our room on the second day of our stay though we requested for it. There is nobody at the reception after 9pm. So we can't avail any service if needed. Communication was another problem because nobody understood English there. I strongly recommend not to choose this hotel for your stay.

Lack of staff presence.

I was told staff would be present for check in until 9pm but a message was sent after we left uk and with no data roaming did not get this, until in hotel snf connected yo WiFi. Late check-in changed to 7pm. On arriving the instructions for getting in for late arrives were not complete in the initial instructions so had to use call button to get instructions to get in. On checkout no one on desk and i think only staff in hotel was cleaner, who could do check out but did not get all details hotel needed for Venice visitors. We felt it was a bit like a ghost hotel. Did not see any other guests either. Room was fine, except shower on second visit dod not have any hot water. and location good for us. Not to far to Piazza Roma and cruise terminal.

Our reservations at Hotel Falier was great and everything went very smoothly. The staff (Julia) was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located adjacent to one of the canals, not to far from the "terminal station" (drop off point) that you can walk from...with only two bridges to cross. The hotel is also located within a nice shopping area for restaurants and a variety of shops. All in all we were very satisied with our choice to stay at Hotel Falier.
