"I stayed here for one night. The location is absolutely fantastic—right in front of the ocean, with a beautiful view. It’s also very convenient for getting on and off Highway 101.
I booked an ocean view room, but it was located up a set of stairs, and the window faced the stairway. Every time someone passed by, it made it hard to relax.

"The staff was very friendly. We had signed up for the rail bike tour for a 1pm time slot. They staff allowed us to park on the property and said our room would be ready by 3pm.the hotel itself is very nice and historic. A living museum. The restaurant is nice and has weekend shows. We only stay one night. A walk around the block to the Rabalais Bistro is a good place for breakfast. "

"Hotel is only 30 days old as of 3/20/26. Room and bathroom are spacious. Bed VERY comfortable and the A/C was effective and quiet. Breakfast was one of the best "hotel buffett" breakfasts we have had. No upcharges for resort fees or parking, just a nice place to stay. Minimal exterior noise, and also great interior design."
