"This was our second stay at this motel and I have to say it was as great of an experience as it was the first time. The owner is extremely friendly and went out of his way to ensure that our room was ready for us since we checked in exactly at 3pm. The motel is clean, comfortable and welcoming. There’s parking spaces directly in front of the room doors and you can usually catch a spot right in front of your room. The AC works great and is quiet. "The hotel actually has a clocktower attached to it, hence it's name and it's very charming with an older European feel to it. There are windows that open directly with no window screens attached, older wood furnishing and floor. Break is provided in its own room, but I would recommend having a light jacket on in the morning as it does get colder overnight/early morning. The parking space is small, but there is street parking nearby and the hotel gives you a parking slip to place in your vehicle."

"Honestly, a very basic place with micro rooms. The room was clean, but the place overall felt old and poorly maintained. Not enough parking."

"The site was well maintained and clean as was the room. There is a McDonalds very close by for morning coffee, and Seaward avenue restaurants and the beach are just a few minutes walk away. Great, inexpensive place to stay for a visit to Ventura."

"They are under construction right now, and the lobby is difficult to find the interior of the hotel is very dated. There is a newer Holiday Inn, 3 miles away. They should really just close while they are updating."
