"I was so nervous about my stay in California, mostly worried about safety/location/busy-ness of things. I was SO pleasantly surprised!! Ventura was not the busy/crazy I thought it would be. The location and hotel were great! Literal 10 min walk to the beach, they kept the property very clean, actively outside cleaning up the parking lot, pool area. "While it may be a somewhat “vintage” style property. The building and grounds are clean and well maintained. The size of the room and kitchen facilities were a pleasant surprise. Although we were only staying one night, the kitchen makes it ideal for a multi day stay. Good quality WiFi and sufficient, conveniently located outlets for charging devices.
