"The hotel tries to be "old-timey," but it just ends up being old. Everything is shabby, and not in the "chic" way. The worst part was when a mouse came darting through our room. I complained to the front desk and they gave me towels to stuff under the door. My husband saw another mouse in the downstairs lobby area, which is also where the high tea is served. We were totally grossed out. Thankfully Expedia is working on getting us a refund."

"What a great place to stay in Victoria, all the staff are amazing just so friendly and helpful. Jaz from house keeping was just someone who was so nice and kind to me and my wife. This hotel was incredibly clean from top to bottom. The restaurant and bar have a great view and again friendly and helpful. The front desk staff are very nice and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and again just so clean and fresh. Our 1 bedroom suite was perfect for our needs , enjoyed the balcony...

"Stayed one night. Had to tolerate a terrible noxious smell through out the hotel from driveway resealing. It was even worse in our room right beside the driveway. Gave us terrible headaches. They told us the smell would dissipate soon after application but when we returned to our room hours later it was worse. Then we had no water in the room from a burst pipe. Couldn’t stay in these conditions and had to leave at midnight to find another hotel. Not okay. This hotel should not have been renting...
