"Sadly the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff cannot excuse some of the basic fundamental issues that I have experienced over the last few stays at this hotel. I decided to stay here as I am a keen swimmer and the facilities here are great in that regard. "I don’t usually give feedback but a few things stood out sadly. The postcode took us up the road and the lodge on site is not sign posted so had to get out and ask. There was water pouring through the electrics in the ceiling in the kitchen when we arrive so had to wait whist it was sorted and a frying pan was left on the floor to collect water for the drip for the duration of the trip. The bed is two separate beds pushed together and a really uncomfortable hard lump in the middle! Beds were...

"Staff-Angelika was very helpful n caring . when the restaurant was closed early due to staff shortages. She was able to open for me to buy drinks. Stayed in superior room- Room was clean, spacious and well equipped. My son was happy could move around the mounted TV any angle he wanted to play his games. Hotel was close to my daughter’s uni accommodation. Will stay here again. Blessings "

"There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return."

"Visited for a 2 night stay visiting family. Room was lovely and fresh and clean. Reception all friendly and helpful. Bar staff very very good. Housekeeping that i bumped into also friendly and polite Didn't actually eat in the restaurant but did have a couple of pints both nights, with some chips, and a choccy brownie with icecream the 2 night. Both delicious. Went as a solo female traveller with mobility issues and felt safe and secure at all times Plan to def stay again in the future "

"What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area"
