"The location is a big advantage—everything was easy to reach, which made exploring Rome very convenient.
Breakfast was also a highlight, with plenty of choices to start the day.
The hotel has a classic, old-world charm, but overall it feels a bit tired. The corridor carpets, for example, gave off a slightly dirty feel. I understand preserving the style, but refreshing or deep-cleaning certain areas would make it feel much cleaner without losing its character.
Overall, the stay was enjoyable, mainly because of the location and breakfast, but some updates would really improve the experience."
"The breakfast menu was very good. A lot of choices to eat. The housekeeping in room can leave a lot to be desired with regard to a couple room attendance. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The bar is lovely with many choices. One of the housekeepers our room was rude and didn’t even do a mediocre job."
Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA - Preferred Hotels & Resorts
10/10 Excellent
"The whole Hotel was excellent from the greeting at the front, to the room, spa and gym facilities and the bar area. The bar staff were attentive and super friendly, the food was delicious. The location of the Hotel is excellent, it is close enough to be able to comfortably walk to everything, but also has the openess to not feel like it is in the middle of a very busy city. This will be my favourite hotel in Rome."
"We had a wonderful stay at Ruby Giulia in Rome. The location is excellent.Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring the city very easy, especially when traveling with my daughter. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to provide additional information and recommendations, which we really appreciated. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and everything felt clean and is new.Breakfast was good for a 3-star hotel, with a nice variety. A special highlight was the coffee. It’s ordered fresh rather than coming from a machine, and it was genuinely excellent. The rooftop terrace is a beautiful spot, especially on sunny days, with a lovely view over the city.Perfect for a relaxed moment after a day of sightseeing.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. If they maintain this level of quality, Ruby Giulia would definitely be our choice again for a future visit to Rome."
"I saw a huge crockroach crawling on the bowls as I was getting breakfast and the staff just took it away and laughed about it like it's normal. It was so gross.
Coffee maker was broken and stuff tried to fix but couldn't fix it. The toilet kept running and so it was hard to sleep. Took them 2 days before they had someone fix it.
The staff are grumpy and not friendly except for a few people. The area near train station is very sketchy so would not recommend for kids. My kids were scared walking around. We witness a huge fist fight in front of the hotel. Omg. "
