"We never set foot in the place unfortunately. We got to the property after dark and it was unlit exterior The door was not programmed as promised and we could not get in. The owner didn’t respond to our or the property management company’s many communications for two days so we had to stay at a run down hotel which was all we could get at 9:30 on a Friday night in the middle of nowhere A week later the owner still hadn’t responded or apologized for our family’s considerable inconvenience...

"Great Place for a quick overnight"

"The staff was so helpful. We hit bad weather and are travel was delayed and Expedia system canceled out room after 11pm. When we called to verify travel (due to weather) was delayed. We literally had no room to sleep and the staff figured out for us."

"The facility is clean and well maintained, plenty of parking and well located. I was given a handicap room and it is was very dark with false windows and frosted glass and dim light behind the glass. There was 1 lamp and bed lights, but that was not sufficient to provide adequate light for this room. The TV remote did not work, they replaced it but then the TV would not turn off, it had to be unplugged. The bathroom was awkward, no vanity and the toilet paper roll would not stay in the holder....

"Hotel was situated in a good stop. Close drive to Robert Treman State Park. You can walk to Buttermilk State Park. Close drive to Watkins Glen Falls State Park. Close to Cornell Botanical Gardens and Ithaca town. Rooms were clean, staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Just thought it was silly that they charged $4.17 plus tax for parking. Overall my stay was good."

"Charming property with delightful rooms. Victorian decor and old world charm. Staff was friendly. No elevator but stairs to second floor were manageable. Beautiful view from 3 sides in the Garden room. Location was convenient to walk to the falls. Bright dining room. Had an excellent dinner and continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again."

"Unclean. Thought I was getting a one bedroom suite, there is only one room with a foldout. Breakfast is awful, tasteless eggs, stale fruit, leave juice out for hours so it doesn't stay cold. Constant problems with room key. Stay away."

I specially loved how this site provides complimentary water bottles, fresh-baked cookies, and 24hr coffee. "Front desk staff was nice but not conversational. Bar food took over 45 minutes only to find out cook was missing in action. Room not maintained well: Buttons missing from A/C, ironing board broken & bathroom door sticks. No mirror in bedroom, no full length mirror & bathroom window needs a shade since it lets light into the bedroom. We never received housekeeping service one of the two nights we were there. This hotel has a brand new manager so hopefully they will improve the guest experience."
