"Das äußerst herzliche Personal hat uns das Pech mit dem Wetter vergessen lassen. Die Zimmer sind alles andere als modern, aber urig und sehr sauber, nichts fehlt. Only issue with staff is we had a house keeper walk into our room without approval at 9:30 in the morning. It was a little sketchy! Pool looked nice but never used! "Very beautiful hotel right at the heart of Crete old town. The hotel is at the centre of a shopping street and wonderful restaurants, the back side is the beautiful Old Harbor's breakwater and lighthouse. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended and would still choose to stay here on my next visit to Chania."

"It was an incredibly beautiful hotel! I loved the old charm character. We had a balcony and could see all the goings on in the area. It was a different feel from a regular hotel in a wonderful way! The only critique I would have is that the shower is tiny and like one in a camper. It can’t be helped much due to the age of the hotel but the room decor and location and everything else wonderful about the property made up for it!"
