"We got a Mountain View king room. However the Mountain View was around the corner if you looked. The room was very spacious but the hallways smell of nicotine. Feel like there is something that can be done. But I understand there is smoking allowed. Signage could be better. Had dinner at guy fierey and gave a lot of food and it was really good. "This was a great place to stay while visiting Bryson city and Cherokee. It was clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly. No frills on the breakfast though. Coffee machine, order machine, waffle machine. Could stand a little improvement there otherwise can’t complain for the price. "

"This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

"I absolutely loved this property! I didn’t want to leave!! Location was perfect. Bull frogs, birds even the light rain was relaxing. We stayed in the Mountain Laurel Yurt and it was amazing. Clean, upgraded, very luxurious!
We had two elk wander in to drink from the pond and they were so beautiful!
I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return!"
