"Stayed here for 2 nights during a work trip, executive room is large with a good sized desk and good layout. Fridge and safe in room. Shower was just Ok. Rooms need a refresh, some shoddy contractors used previously as workmanship was very bad, especially the silicone around the sinks. Breakfast was very bland, and the worst coffee I've had in a hotel. Would have preferred a basic Nescafé packet."

"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. "It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. "
