"Beautiful place to stay. The highlight is the breakfast prepared by a chef, and the lovely deer that were grazing outside. It’s also a short walk up the street to the lieutenant governor’s residence with the lovely walking trails and Craigdarroch castle."

"We had a fantastic stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was SO comfortable, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel and appointments. We slept for 12 hours and could have spent the entire day in bed if we had the time. Location is outstanding. Staff were very professional and friendly. We loved our stay and plan on booking again when we return!"

"Terrible pillows"

"I have been frequenting Victoria for so many years for work and have never even considered Helm's Inn nor even really heard of it? I was attending a conference and choices were limited and Helm's Inn came up. I booked it and can't say enough about it! The suites were modern, super clean, the room I had was very quit, parking was charged by VERY reasonable, walking distance to the heart of everything! I will be staying there a lot more from now on!"

"Nice convenient place to stay in town. Check in was awesome. The theme is cool and they keep to it. Breakfast convenient and great service good food. A little noisy at night but it’s on a main road so not surprised. Housekeeping storage and the laundry room was also across from our room too so they also added some noise"

"Splendid facility , immaculately clean with an extraordinary helpful staff that never stopped asking us if we needed anything else. Gold Level service allowed us a sumptuous free breakfast and an afternoon snack bar that substituted for dinner a number of times. We swam in the Health Club pool every morning and then head up for breakfast down the hall from our room. No view for us, but other rooms certainly had one. Expensive, but you get your money worth."

"Unique place to stay."

"The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return"

"The hotel and everything about it was fabulous! We travel all over the world. This was one of the best. I particularly like the health club with the Hot Tub, steam sauna, dry sauna and swimming pool. I would stay again in a heartbeat."
