"I was hoping that they would connect our rooms since I booked them together for our family/kids, but they couldn't accommodate. The bar closed very early for a weekend, just my opinion. And the Kelpies was supposed to be a 15 minute walk as advertised by everyone, but nothing is mentioned about how unsafe it is to walk areas that have no sidewalk. "The staff are so helpful and the breakfast are so hearty. Great choice to stay outside of Edinburgh and great value for money. Catch the X55 bus just a short walk down the road to the bus terminal in the heart of Edinburgh. The X55 is wheel chair equipped as well. There is a superb fish and chip shop next door with Pizzas as well. The selection is fantastic and portions are huge."
