"The grounds are beautiful and historic and when we drove up I had high expectations for the interior. I would not consider it anywhere near a 4 star hotel. The room was in a poor state, and paint was chipping from every surface, and the carpet was split down the center of the room creating a crater, in addition to being frayed and shredded. "Staff were so friendly! I was half an hour early for check in and only came in to ask about the car if I could leave it there to grab some lunch but they allowed me to check in early and sign the tablet for my car! I will definitely be coming again. Breakfast was lovely too. Taking the order whilst going in to grab some continental. Very quick service with hot food."

"The hotel is charming on the outside. The interior is more of a standard hotel, a bit tired/dated in some respects. But it was clean, the room was comfortable & the bathroom was large and updated. It was convenient having a restaurant/bar on the premises and it was walkable to a restaurant nearby - Salatinos. What was unexpected and fantastic was the large and bright swimming pool, with sauna & steam. Really enjoyed that!"

"Parking ok I've gave this a bad review as idiots on motorbikes from 11pm till 2.15 am flying around in adjacent carpark and couldn't get any sleep. It's about time police done patrols to stop this anti social behaviour. We were flying early from airport so did not get a wink ov sleep"

"Decent size car park. Good food menu with wide choice. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Location good for Falkirk attractions and town centre. Pleasant staff. We booked a basic room but there was no shelf in the en-suite to put your bathroom bits and pieces on. There was only one chair but we chose a basic room to keep costs down. Overall we had a very pleasant stay."
