"Traveling to Salem on the off-season was a great experience for this hotel. There was plenty of parking, even though the parking in the back was small. "The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. "

"Great location! 25 mins outside of downtown Boston Staff are friendly and helpful. You can walk to gas station, CVS and hooters for a bite. Best wings!!!! Rooms are clean, beds pillows all comfy! Free breakfast is also great value for the price you pay for this hotel. Would definatly come again. Holiday inn express is always my go to if it’s available in my area of travel. "

"Property shouldn’t be charging guests I was told the day prior to my reservation that it was being renovated and pool, breakfast and the lobby would be usable. We were given coffee and juice and microwave breakfast sandwiches to eat in our room. My TV didn’t work the whole time and when i asked about it, i was told they would fix it and it was never fixed. "Pool was out of commission staff did not tell us about it as we checked in and there was no indication prior to booking online of the pool being closed by the city. We came from out of state and had a weekend stay for some family activities and in our schedule swimming was part of it due to not being able to swim we had a lot of down time with 2 kids 11& 12 who were looking forward to swimming.
