"We had a nice stay at The Osthoff Resort overall. The property was very clean, and we enjoyed both the pools and the beach. The location is beautiful, and the grounds are well maintained. That said, we were a little disappointed that so many activities came with additional fees. We were surprised that things like stand-up paddleboards and bikes weren’t included for resort guests. "The villa was not well kept. Floor was very dirty, dishes were dirty, both toilet seat needed to be replaced. Multiple windows with blinds broken and curtains completely missing. All furniture should be replaced. Very used and beat up in general. Water park hours were too short and staff said because the owners didn't want to pay them for any more hours... the kids did like the waterpark"

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The staff was fantastic and super responsive. When our smoke detector started beeping—disturbing our sleep—the staff immediately stepped in to change the batteries and contact maintenance. Even though maintenance couldn't come right away, the staff successfully stopped the beeping so we could rest comfortably for the remainder of our stay. ​We also loved the pool—it was huge and had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy! ​The only minor issue was that the shower...

"Booked our hotel and the posting said underground tunnel to the waterpark we went to Wisconsin in December when it was 8° and the hotel room we got was not even attached to the main building so it’s not very beneficial to take toddlers and 8° weather in your car after they’ve been to a waterpark Also, it snowed while we were there and in three days, nobody bothered to clear the walkways or the sidewalks outside the room.
