"We loved the hotel. We had a wonderful ocean view with a balcony facing the ocean. We would stay there again. Perfect location. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. Bacon and sausage were prepared, but there was no scrambled eggs or egg dish made. There was only prepackaged hard boiled eggs in a refrigerator. "

"I really enjoyed the hotel. The room could’ve been a little better decorated for the kids and the selection at night for the TV station, no cartoons or anything for the little kids to watch, I think you need to check on the beds. My grandson cut his leg on the bed. They came and fixed it. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Please reach out for more information."

"The best thing about this place was the location. You can’t beat it. We were able to walk to everything, including the beach, restaurants, shopping centers. However, this property is very outdated. The bathroom was seriously outdated, the electrical outlets need updating, and they never cleaned our room or gave us towels for the entire day. What’s with that? The ironic thing is you will actually see a picture of the person that’s supposed to clean your room with a QR code to add a tip if you like. My tip is, clean the damn room. We actually had to go ask for towels on the first day and then just gave up. Not sure what’s going on with the service these days but it’s getting worse and worse in America. If you travel abroad, you will see that America is probably at the bottom of your list when it comes to value for your money and everything else. While I love Carlsbad, I don’t think I will be back here. I’ll keep looking for better deals and places that take a little bit more pride and people that actually clean your rooms and give you towels. I didn’t think we actually had to go beg for those."
