"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. "Reasonably priced big room with all amenities needed Only criticism would be the info on the website is wrong as said we had till 11pm to check in but we were out and they rang and said they actually close at 10 so we had to rush to get there "

"Great location with several bars & restaurants within a short walk, parking just a short walk away from 5pm to 9am. Room was clean & bathroom spacious a good large shower cubical. Breakfast was freshly cooked & very nice to start the day with. When back in area will be on my list to stay again. "
