"The staff were second-to-none, there was nothing they wouldn't do for you. My only minor gripe is that the hot tap in the bathroom had 2 settings - off, and scalding!"

"After a long day of travelling i found the Courtyard to be the best of hotels to rest up and have a meal. The staff were great and so polite. Room quality was nice and spacious. High quality shower room. **Note to all. Remember to switch the power on just inside your room door. The taps are electric and won't work without the power on. That small detail caught me out !!! But other than that i would highly recommend this hotel for a stay. I will be staying there again. "

"Very clean one bedroom apartment. The location was too rural for us and both the front and rear windows looked out to farm yards. The communication from the host was poor. When we arrived the apartment key was left in the lock and we were not sure if the host was going to greet us or not (we normally stay in hotels but wanted to try something a bit different). "Sam ( Manager), was very welcoming ,approachable and knowledgeable about the hotel and area. The bedroom was immaculate , there were plenty of warm drink provions, soft towels and toiletries provided. Our breakfast foods were fresh& tasty- there was a variety of cereals if you wishes, cooked breakfast, warm and cold drinks. Parking is at the front of the hotel and only £6 per night. "We had a great stay. Everything was excellent- staff were very kind, the place was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very generous with plenty of options to choose from. The room itself was spacious and it had lovely Dove products in the shower. Would recommend to anyone wanting a simple hotel in the centre of Exeter."
