"Swimming pool ok but shallow end was very shallow. Steak room was excellent size and temp, larger than most."

"It’s a lovely hotel swimming pool gym facials staff are really helpful especially Michell on reception well done Michell deserves a star The only downside was the food some uneatable worse than any hotel I’ve been too we ended up going elsewear for our food we did complain the second night needs looking into I had the same sweet two nights one was really good strawberries cream biscuits delicious the second night they forgot the cream and strawberries and only one biscuit Sorry"

"We stayed here for a night for a wedding reception. The shower wasn’t functioning properly and we could not close it completely. However, the worst part was it was full of mould. There was mould around the bath tub as well. The beds were ok. I would not stay here again."

Breakfast is available cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit etc. Again we have always found breakfast adequate. Parking at the hotel is £5 for the night and again we have always been able to get parked. "It's fine. I wouldn't call it 4 star. Simply because the bathroom needs to be updated. The TV has no sports channels which is strange when The Open is being played down the street. Scottish open being played just hours north of us. For 4 stars I don't expect to shower in a tub unless I requested to."

"I specifically booked a Superior Room, 1 King Bed, with Sofabed our visit however was given a double with just a sofa, no sofa bed. I clearly wasn't given the room I booked. Queried this with reception on departure first thing in the morning after an uncomfortable night on a single z bed, was told by reception there's nothing they can do. Poor customer service. If you can provide the room a customer paid for and they're given a downgrade, you should be refunded the difference. You certainly...
