"Booked here mainly for the air conditioning ..30+ degrees at the moment. Upon check in we were informed that the air con was broken in our room. They had put a fan in the room so went to see. It was like an oven so politely declined. We were offered an upgrade, but was asked if we were willing to pay the difference ourselves. "We chose this hotel as it had a restaurant, however on arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a function, but that the bar would be able to provide a meal. We passed the bar on the way to our room & were kindly given a menu to look at. After dropping our luggage we returned to the bar to eat, only to be told that the bar had stopped serving meals due to the function. "Great in airport location for an early flight..literally a five minute easy walk to terminal. Rooms were comfortable with good bed and extremely sound proofed. Restaurant and bar were convenient, and expectedly expensive for a captive audience."

"Lovely grounds and buildings. Staff were very helpful and professional. We didn't use the spa facilities but it all looked great. We enjoyed eating and drinking on the terrace, as an informal alternative to the restaurant, and found the bar staff very friendly and efficient. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, definitely!"

"The property is lovely and well maintained. All members of staff where pleasant. Our room was very clean. It was classed as a suite, but I'm not sure it really was. It had two areas to it, but very basic. The air con didn't work that well which was a shame given the weather was very hot. Other than that it is worth a stay."

"Very nice hotel and very polite staff. The restaurant is very nice and air-conditioned which the rooms are not. There is good ventilation so with the windows open it is bearable to sleep. This hotel just needs to put in air conditioning and it would be perfect."
