"Our first room had plenty of problems, the shower didn’t provide the option for the rainfall only the hand held, the temperature in the shower kept fluctuating from hot to cold, the safe was defective, the sliding door leading to the balcony wasn’t opening and closing properly. The concierge was very pleasant and helpful, even assisting my family to change to another room. Overall experience was top notch. "

"Maya Villa Condo Hotel was the absolute best! Our condo was very clean, we'll equipped with a full kitchen and very quiet at night. The staff was very attentive from the time we checked in until we left. Security was present at night and a locked gate into the complex made us feel secure. "Stayed for 7 nights, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Away from downtown but we had a car rented, so that was a bonus because it was very quiet. There is a public beach a 15-20 minute walk away, 7-11 next door, a lovely cafe in the same building, and just accross the street a couple restaurants we ate at when we didn't plan ahead with very affordable pizza. Will likely return because it suited our family's needs perfectly!"

"A great space. Not The Four Seasons...but this is Playa del Carmen. Spacious and clean. Great location. Other reviews raise concerns about noise from the street.
