The Grand, York
Friendly and helpful staff at front desk and on the door. Sadly the staff in the 1906 bar left a lot to be desired. Great location, a short walk to the train station and into the town centre.

Malmaison York
Location excellent all within walking distance, from train station,never used the gym, stayed 2 nights went to Grand Theatre beautiful theatre. Gorgeous city, York walls disappointing as you cant walk the whole way around there not complete and at one point we were looking how to rejoin them. Also ...

Middletons Hotel
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and lovely food. Good breakfast menu and the evening meal was amazing - highly recommended. We had no problem getting parked and it took just five mins to walk into the centre of York. We will definitely be booking again.
