"A truly wonderful stay over the festive period. The new spa is lovely and room 452 was SO quiet and spacious, highly recommended.
The only downside which I pointed out two years ago is that the shower lets the room down as it’s not powerful enough and looks dated too. A short taxi ride or lovely walk into the centre with everything you could wish for. Please note valet parking is £39.50 and the Soa £45 per person in addition to the room. "Room was a perfect temperature, nice towels and bedding. The tv was well positioned and the water was hot at all times
Breakfast was good but some foods could have been a little warmer but that’s often the challenge for buffet service. The range and availability was great though.
The lounge and bar are was very well run by professional and friendly staff who definitely know how to deliver great customer service. Drinks and food were all up to the required standard.

"The room was impeccable, with lovely thoughtful touches such as a radio and bath robes. The products in the bathroom were an extremely high quality. Comfy bed and perfect locations. The staff were so friendly too. Would highly reccomend. "

"Loved the pub and Simon was super helpful. Best nights sleep ever in the best bed with lovely soft pillows. Food very good, especially breakfast (full Yorkshire breakfast) overall such great find. Highly recommended. Very dog friendly and lovely atmosphere."

Very cute rooms, warm and cozy, nicely decorated. Clean, modern bathrooms.
Great neighborhood, easy walk to the city center, easy for Uber rides, and some phenomenal restaurants only steps away: Chinese noodle soups, coffee/bakeries, and the Rose and Crown tavern, which has the best meat pies, Sunday roast and sticky toffee pudding ive had yet in England.
Highly recommend this hotel."
