"Great location and the sauna and pool were a wonderful end to a long day of walking. The breakfast was good and staff always friendly. The location is perfect for walking to local attractions, close to shopping and dining also."

"Classic character of the buildings, friendly helpful staff, excellent location. The only drawback was the maze like hallways to get to the room. Overall very satisfied and would stay again."

"Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel. A few things to bear in mind, there was a very noisy Wetherspoons directly below our room on the third floor, ear plugs are a good idea!
We had to remind the hotel to clean our room on a couple of occasions and the towels/flannels in the bathroom were stained.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel is ideally placed for all the sites of edinburgh"
