"I have been professionally and personally involved in the Hospitality Industry for quite a few decades, as a Developer to Partial Ownership of a Group with an Inventory consisting of various Hilton/Hampton, Sheraton, Marriot and similar Upscale Properties. Until This Stay at an Extended Stay Hotel, I never even imagined that such stay could be as welcomed and satisfying as This one. After nearly 4 Decades away, I am returning to My hometown to a new residence to enjoy my much deserved retirement. From initial check-in throughout my fulfillment of my 2-Night Stay, It has been a true pleasure. In fact, not wishing to be rushed to move into My newest home, I decided to stay an additional 4 Nights. From Tosha, The Manager, to Alisia & Ozonne at the Front Desk, Misty & Yoselin in Housekeeping and Saschu in Maintenance, The Customer Service is Truly 2nd to None. If I had been as respected and admired by my many employees over the years as Tosha is by those she directly supervises, I would be a very satisfied person! If you are planning on an extended visit to enjoy the area Beaches, the St. Johns River, St. Augustine &/or Our Hometown Jacksonville Jaguars, You really should do yourself a favor and consider This Property. "

"There is actually no pool at all. Not sure if there ever wss a pool. You ca. Get cheaper prices so shop around. Ladies work hard cleaning ,maybe a little upgrade on curtains .there is an occasional loiters but security shewd them off."

"The older guy that does breakfast or works at the desk is rude and has a nasty attitude. He told me that it is against the law to transfer me over to a room for a guest which was a friend of mine. That is not correct, I work at a hotel now. You are not allowed to give out room number information, tell anyone about a guests room number, let anyone in the room that’s not a registered guest in the room and if you mistakenly give out a guest room number while telling them about where their room is the room number needs to be changed IMMEDIATELY. So to say it’s against the law is a LIE. The proper term would be per the policy of this hotel I am not allowed to transfer calls to guest rooms but to lie and say it’s against the law is just SORRY. Indians have such nasty attitudes and think they can just say some crap cause they own hotels. No you still should have respect for your guests and potential customers but still protecting in house guests. I’ve worked at 8 hotels. I’ve done hospitality for 10 years. I’ll never stay here again EVER. It was an emergency and I didn’t ask for the room number cause I’m not stupid. We see who is the stupid one."

"The hotel is under construction. The suite doors were not secure. Light from outside was visible around the entire door to the hallway and to the connecting room. The plastic around the door of the connecting room was visible and they started construction in the adjoining room at 7am."

"I was appalled with the height of the shower head. I was in an accessible room for a walk in shower since I don't do well stepping over into and out of a tub. The shower fixture was placed where the ceiling and wall met (easily 6.5-7 ft high) which caused me to have to stand on my tip toes to reach the shower head to move it as it was shoved over toward the side of the shower wall (so water wouldn't splash out). If I had been in a wheelchair, I'd have not gotten to shower without getting re-dressed and calling the front desk then waiting for assistance and considering I arrived around 9pm I wouldn't have been very happy to have to do all that. The shower pan was plastic and has seen better days as it was stained and looked dirty, probably from hard water but it didn't look nice. I found a left over dirty sock stuck under the wheel of the ottoman also. If housekeeping was vacuuming the whole floor, it should've been caught when they tried to roll the ottoman out of the way to vaccuum under it. The staff was great though. I did not utilize the free breakfast but they had an ample selection of drinks and frozen food to purchase. The hotel was quiet and I felt safe. There's a bar & grill so close by that they will deliver to your room. It has outdoor seating and a huge ground chess board with large chess pieces for fun. I probably wouldn't stay here again due to the cleanliness and accessibility issues but non-accessible rooms might be right for you."

"Room was out dated and carpet was dirty. Bathroom was dirty and mold around shower. Lobby was great until you got up to the floors. I will be staying at another Hilton hotel next time in Jacksonville."

"The black gentleman that made those grits! If you know you know.. They were the best grits we’ve eaten. Everything was excellent! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else while in Duval!"
