"The bathroom could have been a little cleaner (behind the toilet) and the knob plate in the shower looked very bad. The ceiling needed to be cleaned above the air conditioner and over the beds. But the floors and carpets were clean and the beds were fine.The staff was really great and gave us a nice quiet room on the 4th floor which we asked for. The breakfast was also very good. Parking was fine."

"Fridge didn’t work and leaked water from freezer compartment. Bathroom faucet fixture was loose. Found toothpick in bed which suggests sheets may not have been changed. Room and rest of building interior were very worn and lots of damage. Generally just a very low quality hotel. Would never recommend to anyone."

"There is no elevator. The bathroom had mold in the corner of the shower. We didn’t feel safe. The property was not maintained as there were weeds around the building and the parking lot was riddled with potholes. There was no breakfast. The overall experience was no more than a two star hotel. When we return, we will be staying at another hotel."

"If you’re a used to the Sonesta hotel standard, don’t stay here. Property is very run-down, overflowing trash all around the perimeter. Our room reeked of strong peroxide and cleaning products. The bathroom sink leaked all over the floor, kitchen sink would not run cold water, bathtub had no stopper. There were no towels (we were able to procure some from the front desk but none on arrival), no soap in the bathroom, no kitchen supplies (including no cups of any kind), no blanket on the bed. "My family and I enjoyed the location of this hotel; it’s located near the Mall of America and not far from downtown. The room was also exceptionally clean and spacious. The staff was kind and gave us extra sheets for the sofa bed. My family also loved the breakfast, which was phenomenal! In fact, between the four of us, we have agreed that it was the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. Definitely recommended!"
