"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was unacceptable. The bathroom had visible mold, which was both unpleasant and concerning. To make matters worse, I saw a cockroach crawling on the bedroom wall during my stay. A clean and hygienic room is the minimum expectation when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately this property failed to meet that standard. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness and pest control."

"Had to call multiple times to get extra towels, found housekeeping and was told that they don’t give out towels because we didn’t request it. I talked to the front desk about our AC not working but it didn’t seamed like they cared."

"The best thing about the property is the location. The best way to describe the room is plastic. The bath/shower controls were dirty and the control for the bathtub was missing. The A/C was fine and the bed fairly comfortable. The cost of the room was outrageous as a result of the timing; it was Georgetown University's graduation weekend. There were 2 bottles of water, coffee and tea available downstairs and no bathroom amenities."

"This place was great, checked in at midnight with no problem. The roo was just perfect, and the fact of having a kitchen was just a plus. Love the location and the staff were great. I highly recommend."

"The Washington Plaza Hotel made my stay very comfortable, even as I was traveling alone! It’s in a perfect location too, which is the main reason why I booked here, but I can say that the hospitality was up to par as well."

"This is a little gem tucked away near GWU. You can tell it's an older property but it kind of adds to the charm. It was pretty noisy though with our side of the hotel backing the trash alley so we heard trucks coming and going. Nice place to stay if you will be in town for a while since the room had a little mini kitchen complete with a table and chairs and things you'd need to cook simple meals."

"Hotel location is good. Metro station close by. The hotel was quiet and the staff friendly and responsive. The downside is their expensive restaurant. Find somewhere nearby for breakfast unless you want to pay almost $40 for coffee, toast and oatmeal. Aside from that, it's a nice place to stay."
