"The property is clean and fairly maintained. It is an older facility, but it is comfortable and we always stay there when in Tahoe. The rooms are comfortable and the jetted tubs are a wonderful treat after a long day of walking, hiking, or shopping! The staff was extremely friendly and gave us great information on local restaurants, stores, etc. The facility is in a good location, close to restaurants, shopping, and casinos. We will return again as pricing is good and the rooms are huge."

"Delightful place close to the beach. Pool was at a wonderful temperature with pool “toys“ available. When we told the front desk staff that our refrigerator wasn’t working, we immediately upgraded to a two room suite. There were only two negatives. One was that PARKING on returning from the casinos after midnight was virtually impossible. The secondwas that both rooms were extremely dark. No overhead lights and lamps were quite low wattage, especially in the regular room. With LEDs inexpensive wisely available, I have no idea why a property of this quality would not provide something to keep the rooms well enough to be able to read at night (from paper… I had to stick to Kindle and iPad. Overall, the location was excellent, the staff, helpful and responsive, and the amenities more than one could expect from a hotel in this price range"

Hotel Azure

10/10 Excellent

"Standard queen is the perfect size for a couple. We were able to check in early with a $20 fee. We didn't really hang out at the hotel. There's so much to do in lake tahoe. Hotel Azure is in a great location. In the middle of about 50 resturants and stores. Its directly across the street from the lake and the south tahoe bike path. The hotel also has bikes you can borrow. We borrowed 2 and rode around when we first arrived.the front desk girls could not be nicer. Every room has a balcony. There's a pool, guy, game room, parking and soft sheets. I would definitely stay here again."

Marriott's Timber Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel, located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe with shopping and hiking right there. There was a live band in the center of the mall on Friday and Sat nights. Lots of activities, a kid's center and a small restaurant. Our room had a full kitchen and a lovely bathroom with a large sauna/bathtub. The bed was comfortable, not too soft and not too hard."
