"There were places like the fan blades that had not been cleaned in sometime. There is a light right next to the entry door and when you open the door to go in, the flying bugs storm in. There were also pots and pans etc. but no range or similar. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I love little mom and pop motels but this was a bit gross. I also had a ocean view room, the windows were so dirty I couldn't see out thru the hase. oh, the room is maybe 10ft off of probably the busiest street...

"This was a perfect little place for a solo traveller; quiet, clean and comfortable. It was a short walking distance to everything like coffee, restaurants and shops. The beach was just across the street. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Traveller tip: the cajun restaurant across the street is a fantastic place for dinner."

"This was was probably a nice little place in its day. It had a couple, now disused, bar areas. It was pretty clean, but the room had a slight musty odor. The shower ceiling paint was peeling and the water never got warm. After ten minutes of water running, I just sucked it up and took a super quick shower. It appears, to me at least, that to make ends meet they have rented out some rooms as low cost efficiencies. I'm not being judgmental, but it was obvious that the few people constantly sitting...
