"Do not recommend this property. The guy at the counter had no shoes on and Hardly talked, he didn’t seem to know what’s going on. Not very clean at all and like every other review the tvs in the rooms do not work at all. The room smelled bad and had stains on the sheets. That being said we stayed one night and cancelled our other two at this property and had no issues getting a refund, they were nice about it. "I was assigned a handicapped room for unknown reasons. I had initially told the hotel that I needed a ground floor room because I was bringing two dogs but my plans changed when I found birding for the dogs and I called the hotel and told them I didn't need a ground floor room after all because I won't bringing pets. "I honestly never write bad reviews but this place was awful espicailly for the price. rooms were dirty had to change rooms three times before I just gave up. Bathtubs were a mess and chipped everywhere the carpet was filthy. They overcharged me on parking twice breakfast was weak. Very dirty rooms and extremly overpriced."

"The Dunlin was an amazing stay (3 nights was perfect). Things that stood out were 1) how friendly and helpful the staff were 2) the decor and overall feel of the place 3) the pool and amenities 4) the spa - great services at reasonable prices 5) the restaurants - food was incredible and many ingredients were from nearby farms, they were very accommodating to our 16-month old too. Overall, it was a great place to spend a few days relaxing away from our busy lives with our little family."

"Clean, stylish room and a nicely updated property. We only had the chance to check out the pool house, but the space was perfect for hanging out and the staff was so friendly. The only negatives were some of the fixtures in the bathroom of our room were not fully secure to the wall and the water runs out of the shower. But, it was affordable & close to all the places we love in North Charleston so we would stay again!"
