"The bed was clean and comfy which made sleep wonderful. The area is so peaceful and welcoming because all the tourists are on the other side of the bay. Short walk to the beach was great. The jetted tub feels good after a day of long walks/hiking. Everything is a short drive away. There may be a scent of smoke among the property, but that is from others nearby using fire pits or real fireplaces flowing with the sea breeze. The bathroom could use some re-caulking, but otherwise very clean. If you want the fireplace for ambiance, just ask staff to light the pilot before arriving. The place is a little dated, but it's a nice quiet comfy stay."

"The room was okay, definitely outdated and really warm inside. The mattresses were super hard and the springs were either damaged or extremely worn in some places. The one side of the bed had an indent where it felt like you would roll off from it. The rest of the room was ok, smaller bathroom with really low shower faucet. Older carpet. I wouldn’t have rated it low just because of this, but did so due to the extreme amount of noise at night. First it started off with someone purposely stepping super loud back and forth on the balcony and then laughing. People kept being loud late into the night. Around 2am, a man started screaming loudly outside near the check in area, saying things like peeka-boo, I see you and strange things like that. Then a man and younger man walked down in front of our room soon after. I don’t know if they were the ones screaming or someone else, but they were talking loudly as well. It put us on edge and I couldn’t sleep well because of that. With the amount of money you pay per night, they could really use some updates and maybe some kind of security. They need to monitor what is happening on their property, especially late at night and early A.M. other than that, it was nice being right across from Lover’s Point. The ocean location is the only reason I booked it."

"This place is extraordinarily clean. When available the staff was helpful and friendly. The important thing to remember is that this is an older building so that means that plumbing is older, the outside is older, and the furniture is too, but our bed was comfortable and again it was super clean. I felt so safe in there because it was so tidy, and we had a balcony with chairs and that was really helpful too. It is a really a skip to the beach and you can’t beat that!"
