"An oasis in Nice! Good size and well appointed rooms. Great location close to the beach and old town. Easy to get to from the airport. All in all, it was an excellent stay and we would have liked to have stayed longer."

"This hotel had the Perfect location for seeing Nice and being close to shopping, restaurants, beach and the train. We loved our stay. The concierge was super helpful ! The daily waters and gift of Chilled wine at check in were fabulous extras. The only tiny complaint is the pool was smaller and no as pretty as pictures showed. "For the price, the hotel was acceptable and functional. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The central location is nestled in the middle of a narrow block, with several other buildings. The public parking garage was convenient about one block away. The lobby is modest, with wire-looking chairs, not much natural light, and the hallways are narrow. "The Hotel was in a good location. The staff were excellent. We did have a problem which was sorted out by the staff. However, I found it strange that there were no proper cups in the rooms they were paper, and there is quite Cleary in need for the rooms to be refurbished."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Excelsior!! The hotel was very close to the train station and the staff were especially welcoming and friendly!! The room was beautifully maintained and clean, and we even had a small balcony that allowed us to enjoy the warm air of the French Riviera!!"

"The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel lobby is very nice and breakfast was perfect! The rug in the room was slightly stained but the room was very clean. We had some difficulty with the air conditioning but the staff was very responsive even on a Sunday . The room was never uncomfortable although could have been a little cooler and they gave us compensation at the end of the trip because of the issue. We definitely recommend this hotel!"
