"Overall a beautiful looking hotel with excellent grounds, the staff were extremely helpful l, the property is outdated and the rooms require TLC! Breakfast was very good, with options for omelettes and pancakes, we ordered the omelettes, which were decent. Overall we had a good stay. Great location, just off the motorway."

"We really loved the hotel. However, our sleep was disturbed because of the heavy traffic. If I had known I would have requested a room at the back. The hotel was not full so I cannot understand why they did not put us at the back of the hotel. It was our anniversary so my wife's lack of sleep was not good. The breakfast was excellent. "We had another wonderful stay. It’s in a great spot with Meadowhall across the road, off the M1 and only a 20 minute drive (if that) from the town centre. The staff were fabulous, especially Rachel and Anthony. If we come back to Sheffield, we would stay again. "

"The hotel is looking a bit tired and in need of an update. The room was fine...no safe, furniture a bit tatty and some black mould around the bath/shower. Only 1 dressing robe and slippers in the room, although booked as a couple. Room service was a bit random. The sandwiche that arrived was not great, with a tired piece of lettuce, 2 small tomatoes and some tortilla chips. Breakfast was again fine but nothing to write home about. The hot food had the air of being put out for the opening...
