"Appreciate the location, but the lack of convenience for arrival and departure is a serious drawback. No place for inner or tour pick up/drop-off. There is no real lobby and an only 2 chairs in the lower lobby when waiting for a ride. The staff was pleasant. They did meet a special request that I made for a birthday one of our party was having and arranged to have the three room we reserved on the same floor. Otherwise I had virtually no contact with the staff. I am not sure if that is “good”...

"Loved our stay here! Awesome location in Auckland city and a short walk to amazing coffee shops and restaurants. The harbor is barely a ten minute walk away! The staff are really great too. One receptionist (I wish I remembered her name!) was so so so sweet. I have an aversion to elevators and asked to use the stairs, but she personally went with me up the lift and made sure I was comfortable. "All windows need to be cleaned all carpet needs professional clean or replacing, the main ensuite bathroom cabinets are perishing and the bathrooms need cleaning and wooden floors need cleaning, also the tables need dusting properly. One of the blinds in the main bedroom is faulty. One of the dining chairs is faulty. There was rubbish under a bed. There is only one outdoor chair and no table. Stunning views. Good price point. Carpark nearby. "

"We’ve stayed several times only 2 weeks ago and great service unfortunately this time with the two rooms we booked together the Fridge Wooden Door was broken in 629 and the Robes were not in the rooms. I phoned at least 9 times from our room to Housekeeping and Reception and never got through. But when I called from my Mobile I eventually got through for the Robes same thing on checking out. Not at all acceptable bad service."

"The room was clean and having laundry facilities was great. As for the breakfast it wasn’t great. The hot food.. was cold. The warmers didn’t work well. The scrambled eggs were so runny and wet I ate them once and being vegetarian there wasn’t much to offer for a protein."

"Perfect except they did not explain about the carpark. Look it up. It’s very unfriendly car parking if you do not understand exactly how the carparks in New Zealand operate. Other than that, 5 stars and would happily stay again."
