"I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. "Perfect location. Room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Staff were friendly. There was a bit of confusion when we arrived as you need to give them another cc on file to get a code for entry. It’s a guest house and not a hotel so there’s no staff onsite but the host was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. "

"The whole master bathroom was flooded from the toilet with a very strong sewer smell. The bedrooms where in very bad conditions. The sliding doors almost impossible to open. The kitchen cabinets in very bad conditions, the jacuzzi wasn't working property. Beautiful location but; the building needs an update. We pay way too much for what we got. "

"My fiance and I traveled with our 10 year old. Absolutely beautiful views and resort! Food options were slightly limited and very expensive on top of what you’re paying to stay. A free shuttle service to the airport or local places/activities would’ve been nice. We Uber’ed everyday to snorkel, zip line, etc. the magic show was a favorite and it’s free! The staff was so friendly and welcoming!"

"This was a perfect location to stay if you are doing a bioluminescence bay tour- walking distance! Condo had everything we needed and was perfect. Owner was highly responsive and even allowed for an easy early check in. The only complaint we had was the local neighborhood rooster who woke us up starting at 3:30AM. Other than that, perfect stay!
