"The Adagio is in a great location on the Royal Mile! There are shops galore, many excellent restaurants, and it's within easy walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the Holyrood Palace, the Museum of Scotland, Museum of Edinburgh as well Greykirk cemetery.It is also a short walk to Waverly train station and the AirLink 100 bus stop to the airport. As for our room, a twin beds, the beds were firm and the pillows were comfy. The kitchenette include a good sized refrigerator, a two burner stove, a small dishwasher and a set of dishes, cutlery and an electric kettle. There was extra closet space too which was very convenient to have. The bathroom was clean, nice showerhead with good water pressure, and a large sink. The onsite laundry in the lower floor was a bargain although it's in a small space. You can be notified by email when your wash cycle and/ or dryer cycle is completed. A very convenient feature! All in all, we enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Adagio and will definitely stay there again. "

"Had an excellent stay at the Apex Waterloo Place - stayed 3 nights over a long six nations weekend. The hotel was really well presented, all of the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. We ate at the Liberte restaurant and had their Prix Fixe menu - the food was delicious and good value for the quality we received. Used the basement pool and sauna which was small, but really nice too. Hotel well located for the city, and exploring down to Leith. All in all, a great stay and would come back here again another time. "

"Everything about CoDE is top notch in my opinion. Very clean, with private quiet areas to chill. No keys or cards to fumble with, all areas are secure with your own "code". I traveled with my son so we opted for the twin room with private bath, was perfect. I booked through Expedia last year and when we arrived there were issues with the booking but were delt with care, professionalism and swiftly resolved. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. If something couldn't be answered immediately, someone was on it in reasonable time. I am a mature traveler and would definitely recommend for all ages18 and above. I will definitely be back one day. "Across the road from Haymarket, decent bar adjoining hotel. Room quite small but fine for a couple of nights or so. Only problem was seal on window wasnt great so could hear qind whistling and traffic noise. Black out blind also had a tear which let in light too early. Decent value though."

"Just a really lovely stay. Room we got was a little smaller than the others- don’t get the end room. But Abacus was great as was the breakfast and staff were really accommodating "

"It’s a bit far from the old town, but it’s such a beautiful place that it’s totally worth it. The breakfast is fantastic, and you can even enjoy a whiskey tasting with one of their specialists. Overall, it was a wonderful stay."
