"We was welcomed with a smile and great energy. All questions were answered upon arrival. The room was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is a buffet and it was delicious all locally sourced food and you could taste it. The views from the hotel are breathtaking definitely something you miss when coming home. All members of staff had a smile on their face and were very welcoming. The bar is lovely 2 open fires were perfect to sit next to and relax for the evening. Town is about 20 minutes drive I don’t know about bus service. We will definitely be back missing it already "

"The place was so deserted in the bush. Besides that, heating in my room was off by 22:00 and the room was cold and generally I didn’t like it at all feeling cold most of the night. Also the Idea of going downstairs to make a. Cup of tea I didn’t like it. I had to carry the remaining small milk in the bottle to my room. But the owner was. Informed about the milk."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Cow Byre 1 — it surpassed our expectations. The accommodation felt homely with lots of thoughtful touches, and you can really see the care that’s gone into both the property and the grounds. Our son especially loved the games room and used it every day. It was quiet, in a great location, and we still felt a real sense of space and privacy even though it seemed fully booked. We felt it was very good value for money. The hosts were fantastic — nothing was too much trouble. We’d happily recommend to family and friends."

"We had a very comfortable stay at the Rose and Crown. We didn’t meet any staff as the pub is closed on Monday and Tuesday but the check in procedure using the Keysafe was very straightforward and clearly laid out in the email sent the previous day to our arrival. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The self service continental breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice of items and even avocado, mangoes and a pomegranate on offer. We would certainly be happy to stay at the Rose and Crown again when we next visit Bath"
